Acceptance
By installing or using the Veneer Chrome extension ("the extension"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.
License
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the extension on the devices you control, for any lawful personal or professional purpose.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the extension to:
- Defraud, deceive or impersonate another party (e.g., manipulating banking, identity, contractual or e-commerce content shown to others).
- Bypass paywalls, license checks or access controls.
- Tamper with content shown to third parties in a way that violates applicable laws.
- Reverse-engineer, redistribute or relicense the extension's binaries.
The extension modifies the page rendered locally on your screen only. It does not modify the source page or any data stored or transmitted by the underlying website. You remain responsible for how you use the resulting modified content.
No warranty
The extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The extension may be updated, changed or discontinued without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veneer and its authors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the extension.
Privacy
Use of the extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Changes
These Terms may be updated. Continued use of the extension after the update constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of France.
